(#72) Intermediate LENTIL SCIENCE requires preparation and labeling of a fairly lengthy list of materials, tasks which can be done in stages for each section of activities. Photocopying the 58 Job Cards and the supporting Job Sheets can also be done as the need arises. Because your time and energy are worth a great deal, we strongly recommend that you order our NEWLY REVISED KIT, now simplified to provide only the hardest-to-find materials. We have worked diligently to find an optimal balance between your budget and your convenience. But if you are determined to scrounge your own materials, we do still offer you the option of purchasing print materials alone.
Our BASIC KIT supplies a corrugated job box, all assorted
plastic vials cut to size (you will label), a test tube, a counting grid,
sifting screens, bottle connector, magnets, bottle caps, BB's, craft sticks,
scoop and funnel. (You will supply lentils, soup mix, assorted beverage
containers, baby food jars, liter bottles, plus other recyclables and simple
materials. You may purchase some of these materials in quantity, below, for
teaching
larger groups.)
